Abstract

Direct intruction model is a learning model that is specially planed to support the learning process of the student related to the declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge, that is neatly structured and can be thaught with phases activity pattern step by step. The main problem is this research is how were the result of the application of direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014, and in detail problems in this research are (1) how was the teacher’s ability in organizing the learning activity by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (2) how was the indicator of learning outcomes completeness the students by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (3) how was the learning outcomes completeness of students by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law of the students of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (4) how was the students respons to the learning activity by applying direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014. The general purpose of this research is to describe the result of direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014, and in detail the purposes of this research are (1) describing the teacher’s ability in organizing the learning activity by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (2) decribing the indicator of learning outcomes completeness the students by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (3) describing the learning outcomes completeness of students by applying the direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law of the students of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014 (4) describing the students respons to the learning activities by applying direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in Academic Year 2013/2014. The kind of this research is descriptive research. The subject in this research is student of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang that in the number of 34 students and teacher (obsever). The techninques in colleting data are observation, test and questionnaire while the instrument wich was used in this research in the organization paper of direct learning, learning outcomes test, and the answer sheets of students responses. Analysis techniques research result that was used in the analysis of the quantitative descriptive includes the counting of average score, proportion and presentage. According to the analysis result of quantitative desriptive, research data generally shows that the application of direct learning model with the subject matter Newton Law to the students of class X of SMA Swasta Beringin Kupang in academic year 2013/2014 in the number of 34 students were good. In detail, the result of data analysis are as follows: (1) teacher’s ability in organizing the learning process by applying the direct learning model was good (2) indicator of learning outcomes of students that consists of 11 indicator were wholly complete, indicator affective learning outcomes of students that consists of 20 indicator were wholly complete, and indicator psychomotoric learning outcomes of students that consists of 8 indicator were wholly complete (3) learning outcomes of product that were got by students were wholly complete, learning outcomes of affective that were got by students were wholly complete, learning outcomes of psychomotoric that were got by students were wholly complete, and (4) students responses the learning activities by applying the direct learning model that consists of 5 aspects are in the very good category
