Abstract

Existing work program on Lifau Travel Agent still has obstacles or problems in ordering the tickets and to get information still using the old system. To order tickets or get information, is done by going directly to the agent's office by the consumer or customer. In addition to ordering services pengantrian still using the old system, so often there is a mistake in terms of data collection or the data passengers booking tickets. So that the program created to get a solution using the "System Information-Based Online Travel Booking Tickets" in order to find out information about a travel ticket booking just by accessing it through the internet within 24 hours without having to come directly to the office of transportation and travel services provider aimed at consumers or customers that easily if one day need the services. The system please complete the routine tasks that are useful in decision-making by an organization / agency or company. The method used in building this system is to model (Waterfall method) and the system to be built using the programming tools PHP MySQL database using wamp server interbase 2.0 and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. With the results of the application that created the system is able to provide a travel ticket booking information directed to consumers online, capable of storing data or reports safely and easily book tickets, no need to waste time to go directly to the Travel Agent. But can only access the internet through which they are, so do not mempersulitkan consumers and companies Lifau Travel Agent.
