Abstract

The title of the thesis is the effectireness of implementing be harioral contract techniques through group counsling to increase students’ honesty. The problem it this study is. (1).whybehavior contact theciniques though group counselling used increase the honesty of students. (2). What is the procedure for appliyng be havioural contract of pehninques. (3) Is the application of the be haviordcontract techniquest through group counselling effective in increasing the honesty of students’ ? The purpose of this study is to frind out (1)the reasons for using behavioural contract techniques through group counseling to increase students’ honesty (2)Procedurs for applying behavioral contract techniques though group counseling to increase students’ honesty. (3) The effectiveness of implementing behavioral contract techniques though group counseling to increase students’ honesty. The study method in this research is literature study. The object of study is a ehavioralcontract techniques though group counseling and student honesty. The data source is secondari data. The type of data is in the form of qualitative data. The results of the discussion are as follows: The reason for using the behavioral contract techniques though groupcounseling is to increase the honesty of students with the behavioral contract techniques though group counseling services, students and group leaders agree that students should performs a new behavioral that is different from the previons behaviour. The behavioral contract techniques aims to strengthen and maintain the desired behavior. The behavioral contract technique vhas the advantage of being able to choose realistic behaviour and change student behavioral using simple agreements , focusing on current behavioral and not behavior that occoured in the past. The procedure for applying the behavioral contract techniques though groupcounseling to improve students’ honesty is carried out through five stage of group counseling , namely the conclusion stage and the closing stage. At the activity stage, the counselor facilitates the counselee to increase honesty using behavioral contract techniques, you slowdown, without pellypan and without the activity of the counselor facilitates the counselelee to increase honesty using the behavioral contract technigue with the following steps, select the behaviour to be changed with the ABC analiysis of Antecednt to be appliend provide reinforcement in the from of reinforcement. The effectiveness of the use of behavioral contract techniques through group counseling to increase student’s honesty can be proven by the results of fatila’s research (2018) wich show that student’s honesty increases from an average scoreof 92.5, after group counselingachons carried out with behavioral contract techniques. Students increased to 152. 25. Strating from the discussion above, the researcher give suggestion to (1) BK teaches are expected to deepen their knowledge, understanding and insigh abut behavioralcontract techniques through group counseling so that they are skiled in using behavioral contract techniques through group counseling to increase students honesty (2) Researchers are expected to in order to increase knowle, understand and skills in applying behavioral contract techniques and group counseling so that researchers are skilled in using behavioral contract techninques to increase honesty.
