Abstract

Learning video is a media that is systematically designed by referring to the applicable curriculum and in its use applying learning principles so that the program allows students to reflect the subject matter more easily and interestingly. The material of the basic laws of chemistry is one of the chemical materials that formulates empirical facts and various observations and experiments that allow students to understand the material. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the feasibility of learning videos on the material of the basic laws of chemistry, (2) to find out the improvement in student learning outcomes after being taught by using learning videos on the material of the basic laws of chemistry, (3) to see the response students in learning after using learning videos on the material of the basic laws of chemistry. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the learning videos implemented in schools by researchers are declared valid/feasible. Students' learning outcomes were declared complete with an average score of 86.81. Student responses in learning using learning videos are classified as very good with a percentage of 94.77%.
