Abstract

Members’ Data of St. Joseph Naikoten Parish is still collected manually by recording into a book. Data collection with this method is less efficient because it does not provide an accurate information retrieval system so that it takes a long time to find members data in that collection. Another obstacle facing by the parish is information disseminating only announced at the end of each mass and rarely announced on the bulletin board so it makes people have difficulty to obtain the information. Based on the problems, it is necessary to have a Pastoral Information System at St. Joseph Naikoten Parish based on a Web. To be able to assist parishes in conducting data collection and retrieval of people's data so as to speed up the process of administering. In addition, this system is expected to be able to provide updated information about the schedule of liturgical officers, mass schedules, schedules for choir dependents and other various information by online, so it’s easier for people to access information anywhere and anytime.
