Abstract

Every store that sells laptops has different sales strategies. The buyer only dialogue with employees at the store to choose a laptop to buy. Often times there is a discrepancy between the specifications of the laptop products are selected with the specification requirements of the user. Therefore, it is necessary to build the right system in order to assist buyers in making the right decisions efficiently and effectively for the selection of laptops that suit the needs of the use. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can assist a person in making accurate decisions and right on target. Development of this system using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and is implemented using the programming language PHP (personal home page) using a MySQL database (My Structure Query Language). The end result in this study is a result of the priority criteria for laptops, which are sorted from the highest to the lowest, so that the buyer can easily make decisions by looking at the results.
