Abstract

Seaweed farming has been the main choice most people in the District of West Rote - Rote Ndao as sustainable livelihoods. As the top choice for a living society expects maximum yields. Maximum yield is highly dependent on the selection of seaweed cultivation, when selecting the location exactly where the sea grass that will thrive harvest was results will increase. Determination of the location of cultivation is still based on the previous experience of feeling and so often goes wrong and seaweed farming land seizure. This study aims to determine the location of seaweed cultivation with seaweed fertility rate prediction with the location in the district. Rote West– Regency of Rote Ndao. Method is using fuzzy logic Takagi- Sugeno with the input is temperature, water depth, brightness and flow velocity. This application will determine the exact location to be the location of seaweed farming seaweed based fertility level, so that will maximize crop yields and cultivation of land avoid a struggle.
