Abstract

The main problem in this research: (1) How the implementation of learning with cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject of the system of linier equations in two variabels on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 ? (2) How math learning achievement are taught with coopertaive teams students of classroom type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject the most linier system of equations two variables on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 ? (3) Kind of classroom is there the influence of cooperative type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) against achievement the most basic learning about mathematics system of linier equations two variables on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 ? Of these, the purpose of which are going to achieved; a purpose will achievedin this research which is to; (1) To determine the implementation of learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject of the system of linier equations in two variables on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 (2) to determine the learning achievement of mathematics taught by cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject the most linier system of equations two variables on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 (3) To determine the influence of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject of mathematics achievement system of linier equations in two variables on the students class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang in the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016. The subject were students of class VIII A SMP Adhyaksa 2 in Kupang second semester of the academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 19 people. Tools devices developed include that: Learning Implementation Plan, Languange Teaching, Student Activity Sheet, and Learning achievement Test. To analyze the activity og learning test using above devices, the researches used two instruments, namely; observation sheet the implementation process of learning and learning achievement test (pretest test and posttest test. Based on the analysis using SPSS version 16.0. Prior to testing hypotheses, test prerequisite that the data normality test for pretest and posttest of data. From the analysis of the data obtained pretest sig. (2-tailed) = 0.290 > 0.05 and 0,225 = 0.301, is H0 accepted, so concluded the data were normally distributed. While the data obtained posttest obtained sig. (2-tailed) = 0.762 > 0.05 and 0,153< = 0, then H0 accepted, thus concluded normal. Pengujian hypothetical distribution data using paired sample test, after the data were analyzed obtained value sig. sig.(2-tailed) = 0,764 and sig.(2-tailed ) dan then reject H0.So that concluded there was a significant influence on the model of discovery learning mathematics achievement of students of class VIII SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang 2015/2016 academic year. Based on the above conclusions cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) show the effect on mathematics achievement. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers to use the model of discovery learning in the classroom learning according to the material that will be taught.
