Abstract

Agro-climatic conditions in the territory of Indonesia are very suitable for the development of tropical and sub-tropical commodities at altitudes between zero and thousands of meters above sea level. Agricultural commodities (including food crops, horticulture, plantations, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries) with their diversity and uniqueness are of high value and are strengthened by a very diverse cultural wealth and have a strong attraction as agro-tourism based on agriculture. One of the agricultural potentials that can be used as an agrotourism object in Kupang Regency is located in Tesbatan Village, Amarasi District, Kupang Regency. In the village of Tesbatan also has the Tesbatan waterfall which has five levels and has become the main attraction of the area. Around the waterfall area lies a wide area of rice fields so that it invites the sympathy of anyone who crosses the area. Several types of plants can thrive around the area such as mango, salak, coconut, and also vegetables which are abundant so that almost most of the suppliers come from Tesbatan Village. Researchers do planning and design with a survey directly to the field, to determine the feasibility of all existing facilities. Answering the problem of agrotourism destinations in Tesbatan II, which requires a concept and design with the application of architectural ecology that gives a natural impression and is friendly to the community when traveling or residents residing in Tesbatan II.
