Abstract

he writing of this thesis uses the literature study method. The object of study in this thesis is a mind mapping technique in group guidance and individual creativity. The data source used is a secondary data source. The type of data used is qualitative data. The results of the study in this thesis indicate that mind mapping techniques need to be given to individuals who have low individual creativity because mind mapping techniques aim to increase individual creativity, make individuals more creative, confident, able to develop their potential and talents possessed by individuals according to the real situation faced by individuals. The process of applying mind mapping techniques through group guidance in increasing individual creativity is carried out in four stages, namely the formation stage, the intermediate stage, the activity stage and the termination stage. In this stage of group guidance activities, mind mapping is applied which consists of four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the action, and the reflection stage. The results of the study and analysis in this thesis prove that mind mapping techniques are effective for increasing individual creativity, this is supported by articles of previous research results which prove that after mind mapping techniques are applied, individual creativity has increased. Based on the results of the study, the author provides suggestions to: 1) the reader as a reference material for examining topics about the use of mind mapping techniques through group guidance services in increasing individual creativity, 2) The author should understand more about the steps in preparing a paper. science and the use of techniques in guidance and counseling to alleviate problems that exist in the lives of individuals.
