Abstract

Effectiveness of the application of sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase the confidence of learners. The problems studied in this thesis are: 1) why sociodrama techniques through group guidance can be applied to increase student confidence? 2) how is the procedure for applying sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase student confidence? And 3) is the application of sociodrama techniques through group guidance effective to increase learners’ confidence? The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) the reasons for the use of sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase learners' confidence 2) the procedure for applying sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase learners' confidence and 3) the effectiveness of applying sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase student confidence. The writing of this thesis uses literature study methods, the object of study is sociodrama techniques through group guidance and confidence, secondary data sources and qualitative descriptive data types. The results of the discussion are: researchers use sociodrama techniques as a technique to increase students' confidence because sociodrama techniques can help so that consumers dare to express opinions orally and train the conseters to interact with others. Konseli dares to express opinions orally and is able to interact with others if the client has good confidence. The procedure for applying sociodrama techniques through group guidance to increase student confidence is carried out through several stages of group guidance, namely the formation stage, the transition stage, the activity stage and the termination stage. At the stage of group guidance activities, the counselor applies sociodrama techniques with the following steps: preparation, determining the actor or actor, determining the audience group, sociodrama implementation, evaluation and discussion, game replay. The effectiveness of sociodrama techniques to increase student confidence, evidenced by the results of research conducted by Levi (2015), Maharani (2018), Siti (2017), Meilata (2015) and Kumi (2014). From the discussion above, researchers give advice to: 1) Guidance and Counseling Teachers, it is hoped that they can add insight into sociodrama techniques through group guidance to be skilled in applying sociodrama techniques to increase student confidence, 2) authors, expected to increase knowledge and insights about sociodrama techniques, in order to more skillfully use these techniques to help learners increase confidence.
