Abstract

The Christian family is a community created by God with the creation of men and women for a particular task, namely procreation and education. This special task of God is always carried by men and women who want to live in community. However, this particular task is often neglected, supported by the development of the times that occur from time to time. Many families are trying to maintain their duties and responsibilities, but some families are starting to leave this task. Therefore the Church calls the Christian Family to play a role in its task so that they can re-establish the duties and responsibilities given by God. The task of the Church is Evangelization.The church calls the family on the basis of the important role entrusted by God to them, namely the place of procreation and education so that the family is said to be a household church or ecclesia domestica. In addition, the family also has an important role in the growth and development of a society, so that it is said to be the smallest cell in society.
