Abstract

Nicodemus Mali (31117105) with the title "Analysis of public expenditure on stunting programs at the Belu District Health Office" Under Advisor I Mr. Daniel Taolin, SE., M.Si and Advisor II Mrs. Maria GoretiMalut, SE., MM. The purpose of this study was to determine the realization of the stunting budget at the Belu District Health Office and to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the stunting budget of the Belu District Health Office. This study uses quantitative data types because in the implementation it includes figures such as the budget for stunting and also qualitative data to find out verbally about the development of preventing stunting and the budget for stunting. This research is then analyzed using the formula of effectiveness and efficiency. The results of the study show that the budget used to prevent stunting in Belu Regency from 2019-2021 has decreased because in 2019 the number of stunting was 21.27%, 2020 was 21.20% and 2021 was 17.19%. The budget used is very effective because in 2019 the level of achievement of 98.47% is said to be very effective, in 2020 the level of achievement of 96.56 is said to be very effective and in 2021 the level of achievement is 95.22%, it is said to be very effective, even though the level of efficiency is very effective. inefficient because the level of efficiency in 2019 is 93.75%, in 2020 it is 91.46% and in 2021 it is 81.39%, it is said to be inefficient. To achieve the level of efficiency if the source of funds used is as low as possible. Suggestions to the Belu District Health Office are to disseminate information to the public regarding stunting prevention, and also pay attention to the environment and diet to overcome stunting in Belu district. The Belu District Health Office must intervene, namely Priority Mothers after giving birth must provide exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD). Other interventions that must be carried out are providing vitamin A and additional blood tablets for adolescents of childbearing age, providing additional food or nutritional intake for the target group in order to prevent stunting.
