Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of cognitive knowledge based on the dimensions of knowledge of learners on the pressure material of class VIII SMPS Catholic Mater Inviolata. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The sample in this study was the students of VIII class VIII Catholic Mater Inviolata which amounted to 30 people. The data collection instrument used in this study is about cognitive knowledge test. The results of data analysis can be concluded that the level of cognitive knowledge of learners on factual knowledge is categorized either with 84. The level of cognitive view of learners on conceptual knowledge is categorized less with 69. While the level of cognitive knowledge of cognitive levels of knowledge is proclaimed in less than value 74, the level of cognitive knowledge of learners on metacognitive knowledge categorized less with value 67 and the overall cognitive knowledge level based on the dimensions of category is categorized less with 73.
