Abstract

This study aims to describe students' creative thinking skills in working on questions on the material of rectangles and triangles. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out through giving a creative thinking test (TBK) and interviews after completing the TBK. To test the validity of the data, time triangulation was carried out. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data inference. The results of this study indicate that subjects with high creative thinking skills in solving problems are able to meet two indicators, namely fluency and flexibility, while subjects with low creative thinking skills in solving problems cannot fulfill all three indicators.
