Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this paper is how the role of the Village Government in controlling penetration of foreign cultures in the lives of teenagers. The theory used in solving this problem is the theory of controlling the penetration of foreign cultures by the Village Government. This researcher uses descriptive method. Primary data sources are informants while secondary data sources are documents related to research variables. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research so far show that the control of the penetration of foreign cultures by the Village Government is quite good, this can be seen from aspects (1) The mechanism of supervision through Village Regulations in the aspect of controlling the penetration of foreign cultures, namely Village regulations for penetration of foreign cultures, has been discussed and will be stipulated be a village regulation and establish traditional institution. (2) Outreach to school and community from the Village Government Regarding the socialization of the penetration of foreign cultures, the Village Government has implemented it at the Village Office. (3) Supervision of local education by the Village Government in this case the supervision of the Government through a local curriculum-based education system. The government oversees this local curriculum-based education system through local content subjects (mulok). (4) Cultural traditions in this case the existence of cultural traditions to regulate the behavior of the community, especially teenagers. Pledo Village has established an art studio to preserve and maintain local traditional culture. The suggestions given are (1) The Village Government shall immediately stipulate a village regulation and establish a customary institution in order to more easily control the development of the times regarding the penetration of this foreign culture. (2) The Village Government must also conduct socialization to parents regarding the penetration of foreign cultures and the development of technological sophistication. (3) The Village Government must establish an annual work program for the Pledo Village art studio. (4) Regarding the change in the mentality of children who are already very good, the suggestion from the author is to maintain, then continue to provide direction and motivation so that teenagers, continue to participate in activites in the village.
