Abstract
This research was written by Akuilina Jeniat (311 180 85), Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business under the guidance of supervisor 1 Mr. Daniel Taolin, SE., M.Si and supervisor II Mrs. Emiliana Martuti Lawalu., SE., ME with the title of the research "Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Income of Fruit Traders in Fontein Village, Kota Raja District, Kupang City". The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) What is the general description of fruit traders in Fontein Village, Kota Raja sub-district, Kupang City?; (2) How is the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the income of fruit traders in Fontein Village, Kota Raja Subdistrict, Kupang City?. The objectives of the study were (1) to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the income of fruit traders in Fontein Village. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) Fruit trading business is one of the business sectors in the category of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which is sufficient to contribute to increasing family income, trading business carried out by fruit traders is a daily livelihood. -their day. (2) the income of fruit traders in Fontein Village during the covid-19 pandemic is different from before the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the amount of income earned by the respondents through the fruit business. The income of fruit traders before the covid-19 pandemic was an average of 1,397,667, and the income during the covid-19 pandemic was an average of 1,350,667. The income earned by fruit traders varies and decreases due to the reduced number of buyers and the reduced availability of fruits.
