Abstract
A route permit is a form of approval or granting of permits from parties who are part of the organization of businesses carried out by individuals or entities. The Department of Transportation has established several rules and criteria that will be the basis for issuing route permits, namely; criteria, determining the match between the criteria and issuing the route permit to the applicant, and is still done manually. Other equipment is the completeness of the vehicle, land availability, age, and capacity that can be taken into consideration. The method used in this study is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The Simple Addtive Weighting (SAW) method is a weighted addition method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance appraisals for each alternative on all attributes. The results of this study are to determine the applicant who is entitled to a route permit and the issuance of a route permit to the applicant.
