Abstract

The community's need for boarding houses is increasing. But for now, boarding houses are still not very sought after due to the pandemic period and all activities are carried out online from their respective homes. However, when the pandemic period ends, the need for boarding houses will also increase, such as the City of Kupang which is the capital city of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Based on the background of the problems above, it is necessary to build a web-based boarding information search system using line front-end franework technology which can be a solution for people from outside and within the city of Kupang to find information on boarding houses with the closest distance. The method used in this application uses the waterfall method. The information system is built using the php programming language, javascript, and mysql database. The result of this research is, a boarding house information system that helps the community/boarding owner to easily and quickly find information on boarding houses. The public can also find out the prices, facilities, addresses and other information provided. Another benefit obtained by boarding house owners is that boarding house owners can easily promote their boarding house to make it easier for the public to know.
