Abstract

Belu Regency is a regency in the province of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Belu Regency is known to have a lot of tourism potential. However, this tourist attraction in Belu Regency is still not widely known by the wider community. So that information such as the location of the existence of geographical locations related to tourist objects in Belu Regency is not yet widely known by tourists visiting Belu Regency. The widespread use of Android-based smartphones in the current era, makes Android smartphones one of the right media to promote tourism in Belu Regency. To overcome the problem of the lack of information about tourism potential in Belu Regency, a system is needed that can provide information, including information about the geographical location of tourism objects in Belu Regency, by utilizing Android-based smartphone devices, and MySQL as data storage media. So that tourists visiting Belu Regency can get information related to tourism in Belu Regency easily, and can help promote tourism potential in Belu Regency.
