Abstract

Slopes can occur naturally or intentionally made by humans with a specific purpose. Weir inspection road is a road used for the operation and maintenance of the irrigation network. The geological conditions at JI.37 to JI.39 are not good with the existing soil being dominated by bobonaro clay, which is one type of expansive soil. Stability analysis was carried out using the Plaxis 8.6 program. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the original slope without reinforcement, the original slope condition with geotextile and sheetpile reinforcement, and the right solution on the slope. The results of the analysis by modeling the existing soil conditions without and with earthquake loads obtained a safety value of 1.1183, the value is < 1.25, then the slope is considered unstable and prone to landslides, on slope modeling with geotextile reinforcement, the safety value is 1.1291, the value is < 1.25. then the slope is considered unstable and prone to landslides, on slope modeling with sheetpile reinforcement obtained a safety of 1.1401 the value is < 1.25 then the slope is considered unstable and prone to landslides, the solution given from the two reinforcements is still not able to withstand the movement of the soil mass, so can be replaced with other reinforcements such as Earth Retaining Wall.
