Abstract

The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is how to manage BUMDes and what factors affect the management of BUMDes. The theory used in solving this problem is the management theory of Village Owned Enterprises. This researcher uses descriptive research method. Primary data sources are informants while secondary data sources are documents related to research variables. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the factors that influence the management of BUMDes have not been managed optimally, this can be seen from the aspect. (1) Transparent, such as the existence of a link or site that is used to find information on the development of BUMDes, but with the passage of time this link or site is rarely used because there is no more information on developments related to the management of BUMDes. (2) Leadership in terms of providing examples and examples in work in the form of sanctions and rewards for work results. Regarding leadership in terms of rewards for work and sanctions from BUMDes Bao Baran no awards were given because the leadership style or management had not gone well according to their duties and functions, then the sanctions given were dismissed from the management of BUMDes. (3) The human resources owned by each BUMDes management body are not sufficient because basically there are training activities in making this type of business, but they are not very proficient in this matter because of the lack of experience and expertise in managing BUMDes. The suggestions given are (1) For BUMDes management to be more transparent or open in financial management. (2) As the Village Government, it can pay attention to BUMDes. (3) It is advisable to have more training or education related to the management of BUMDes.
