Abstract
Transportation is all forms of vehicles that support people's activities in daily life. Everyone needs comfort and smooth flow of traffic. Kupang City is no exception, one of the busiest is the El Tari intersection. There are many ways to calculate vehicle density at intersections, in this study using the Gaussian elimination method. This method will be used to solve a system of linear equations, to find out the prediction results of the number of traffic flow vehicles at the intersection, where by knowing the number of vehicles at one intersection, the number of vehicles at other intersections can be easily calculated. The results of the prediction of the number of traffic flow vehicles at the El Tari crossroads, the density occurs in the afternoon, on Tuesday, May 17 2022 at 17.0019.00, if at the intersection D Jl. W. J. Lalamentik (West) and Jl. El Tari (South) has 958 vehicles, so the intersection A Jl. W. J. Lalamentik (West) and Jl. Frans Seda (North) has a total of 331 vehicles, while at intersection B Jl. W. J. Lalamentik (East) and Jl. Frans Seda (North) has a total of 1558 vehicles, and at the intersection C Jl. El Tari (South) and Jl. W. J. Lalamentik (East) has a total of 557 vehicles.
