Abstract

This paper is entitled Development of a Ferry Passenger Terminal in Mahata, OeCussi District Timor-Leste (Modern Architectural Approaches). The main problems in this study are: The Sea Ship Passenger Terminal in Mahata port which has been unable to facilitate the activities of the actors in it. In order to further improve the service quality of the Marine Passenger Terminal at Mahata Port according to its classification, further development is needed. The objectives of this study are: for the development of the Mahata passenger terminal in the Oe-Cussi District in order to produce a design concept for the development of a passenger terminal that can accommodate activities at the Mahata pier passenger terminal and improve the facilities and facilities needed around the Mahata pier terminal area and present the shape and size of the terminal. the appearance of the building that gives the characteristic of Atoni Oe-cussi”. The basis of the analysis and from this goal is how to develop the Ferry Passenger Terminal in Mahata, Oecussi District, Timor-Leste by applying the concept of Modern Architecture to accommodate inter-island shipping activities, as well as to provide facilities that can facilitate activities at the port terminal. Mahata. The planned Modern Architecture is expected to contribute and comfort to Atoni Oe-cussi himself. The development is carried out prioritizing the safety of the user so that it provides several positive impacts.
