Abstract

The development of tourism aspects in Oe-Cusse, Timor Leste is increasing. This is done by the government to answer the community's need for tourism. Tourism development is one of the government's efforts to develop tourist areas that are in great demand by visitors in doing tourism. One of the tourist areas that attracts visitors is spiritual tourism by visiting destination areas that have religious tourism values or religious history that can be studied to enrich and strengthen faith. The Lifau Spiritual Tourism Area is one of the spiritual tourism areas that is in great demand by tourists both from within and outside the country. Therefore, the development of the Lifau Spiritual Tourism Area is very important and requires an area where visitors can carry out spiritual activities in the form of praying, doing retreats or recollecting themselves by refreshing their brains and getting closer to God and the natural surroundings. Researchers do planning and design by conducting a survey directly to the field to find out the needs of facilities at the location. To answer the problem of spiritual tourism areas in Lifau, it requires a concept and design of spiritual tourism areas by applying green architecture to give the impression of being friendly and close to the natural surroundings.
