Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to determine the implementation of learning that applied the guided inquiry approach to the material for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, 2) to know the activities of students in learning that applied the guided inquiry approach to the material for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, 3) Knowing the science process skills of students in learning that applies the guided inquiry approach to the material for Class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, 4) Knowing the student's response in learning that applies the guided inquiry approach to the material for Class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Kupang. The data collection technique used is through observation and questionnaires. Based on the analysis of the data from the results of this study, it was found that 1) the implementation of learning that applied the guided inquiry approach for class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang was categorized as good with an average of 3.68 with a reliability of 99.34%, 2) student activities in class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang in learning that applies the guided inquiry approach to the buffer solution material is in the good category with a percentage of 86%, 3) Students' science process skills in learning that apply the guided inquiry approach to the buffer solution material are in the good category with a percentage of 82%, 4 ) Student responses in learning that apply the guided inquiry approach to the buffer solution material are in the good category with a percentage of 83%.
