Abstract

The district of Malacca is a new district that is developing, marked by many developments in various fields, more specifically in the field of sports. The sports facilities in Malacca Regency which are generally privately owned (for rent) are often used by the community and athletes for training or just used for sports, the sports facilities are still inadequate, so Malacca Regency does not have adequate sports facilities and infrastructure and representative. Seeing sports facilities in Malacca Regency which are still far from standard and the fact that sports facilities are so important to support athlete achievement and increase public interest, especially for young people in sports, the Malacca Regency Government must plan the procurement of sports facilities in order to increase public interest, especially young people towards sports. sports and facilitate the existing athletes. Sports Arena (GOR) by using a concept approach to the theme "Metaphor Architecture" whose application in the field of architecture is through the use of structural forms and building forms that take elements from sports game equipment and human physical form. The location of this final project is adjusted to the location provided by the local government.
