Abstract

Babau Village is one of the villages in East Kupang District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. It was founded on September 4, 1958 and has a total area of 14.91 square kilometers. Many people outside of Babau Village, as well as members of the Babau Village community, are unaware of data and information such as the locations of government buildings, educational buildings, religious buildings, health buildings, Automated Teller Machines (ATM) facilities, Babau Village area's and neighborhood associations' (NA) limits in Babau Village. In Babau Village, a web based Geographic Information System can be built to provide users with full descriptions of the location of things, travel routes, village boundaries, and neighborhood associations' (NA) bounds. The application will be developed using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, My Structured Query Language (MYSQL) for data storage, and the Google Maps API for digital mapping. This geographic information system intends to assist in providing information on an accurate position in Babau Village, as well as the route, as well as information on the Babau Village area's and neighborhood associations' (NA) limits.
