Abstract

The aims of this research are 1). To determine the effect of price, capital, and productivity partially on the income of kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet. 2). To determine the effect of price, capital, and productivity simultaneously on the income of kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet. This study uses quantitative data because the implementation includes data, analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the data obtained, the data source used is primary data using a list of questions (questionnaires). There are 50 respondents who were sampled in this study and then analyzed using inferential statistical analysis techniques with four tests, namely multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). The analysis of this research is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program to examine the effect of price, capital and productivity factors on the income level of kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet. The results showed that the variables of price, capital, and productivity had a significant effect on the income variable of kale vegetable farmers (through the F test). And the results of the partial test (t test) show that the price and capital variables have a significant effect on the income variable of oil palm farmers so that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted. And from the results of the coefficient of determination, the R Square value of 0.515 or 51.5% of the income of kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet is explained by the factors X1 (price), X2 (capital) and X3 (Productivity) and 48.5% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Suggestions from this research are: 1). In order for the business of kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet to increase or be more advanced, it is necessary to have serious attention from the local government through related agencies, in this case providing and being able to provide infrastructure for farmers in the area. For example, by providing a fertilizer subsidy with a larger amount in accordance with the area of land owned by the farmer, thus the production costs incurred by the farmer will be less so that the farmer's income will increase. 2). It is recommended to the kale vegetable farmers to continue to increase the productivity of kale so that the income to be obtained will also increase. This is useful for the welfare of the kale vegetable farmers in Dendeng Hamlet, Noelbaki Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency.
