Abstract

Discovery Learningmodel is one of the learning models that requires the involvment of participant direcly in making their own understanding and find petterns and conceps or theories and learned. The main problem in this research is how the application of discovery learning model of the subject calor an it transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019? Specifically be formulated as follows: 1) how is the teacher abbility to manage the learning activity by applying the discovery learning model of the subject calor an it transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019? 2) how is the learning completeness the student learning outcommes indicator by applying the discovery learning model of the subject calor an it transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019? 3) how is the learning completeness the student learning outcommes by applying the discovery learning model of the subject calor an it transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019? 4) how do the student respond to the kearning activities bay applying the discovery learning model of the subject calor an it transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019? The type of this research is descriptive research. Subject of this research are the teacher (researcher) and the students of XI MIA 2 in odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in school year 2018/2019. Total of the students is 36 person. The learning tools that used in this reseacrh as follows: Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Learning Materials (BAPD), Student Workheets (LKPD), Learning Outcomes Lines (Cognitif, Affective dan Psycomotor). The tecniques that used in collecting data are observation, test and questionnires. The instruments are used in this research are observation sheets for learning management, learning outcomes test and student response sheets. Data analysis tecniques that used are descriptive analysis test and questionnaires. The instrumen used in this study are descriptive analysis tecniques which include average scores, proportion and presentages. The result of the this descriptive analysis show that discovery learning model of the subject Calor an it Transver to the class XI MIA 2 of Odd semester SMA Negeri 9 Kupang in academic year 2018/2019 is carried out in learning process.
