Abstract

Kupang City is one of the cities in Indonesia which is in the process of growth and development resulting in increasing road user activity. With the increasing number of people who carry out daily activities, it has an influence on the smoothness of traffic in the Jl. Cak Doko, Oebobo by social interaction between pedestrians, it is necessary to conduct research that intends to increase knowledge and understanding of the comfort of a pedestrian path infrastructure, and aims to determine the value of pedestrian characteristics variables, the relationship between speed variables and density, and the level of service facilities the pedestrian. And the method used in the research is using manual techniques, referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number: 03/PRT/M/2014. The data obtained from the observations are: the number of pedestrians and pedestrian travel time. Based on the results of field studies, the data is processed into pedestrian characteristics variables and the results obtained are as follows: a) flow of 10.078 pjln feet/minute/m,b) average speed of space (speed) of 140.96 m /minute, c) density of 0.017 pedestrians/m2. The capacity and service level of pedestrian facilities is calculated based on the value of the flow and pedestrian space at the largest 15 minute interval and matched with field conditions, the service level of pedestrian facilities on the Cak Doko road, Oebobo District is included in the service category "A" so that the level of service pedestrian facilities meet the standards.
