Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine cognitive knowledge based on the dimensions of knowledge of class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang on the parabolic motion material. This research was conducted on students of class X IPA who were taken randomly as many as 46 students. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The instrument used to collect data was as many as 10 essay questions on the parabolic motion material. The results showed that the cognitive knowledge test based on the dimensions of students' overall knowledge based on the average test results of 43.39 was included in the low category. The order of mastery based on the knowledge dimension starting from the largest is factual knowledge, conceptual knowledge, procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge.
