Abstract

Guided Inquiry Approach is one type of approach in the learning process where learning is a lot of interference from the teacher. The teacher more direct and give indication to the students either by the complete procedure and direction questions during inquiry process. The problem in this study were (1) How does the ability of teacher to manage learning by apply guided inquiry approach the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the students of grade VIIJ SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah uneven Semester Academic Year 2016/2017? (2) How is the completeness indicator of learning outcomes of students in learning by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of the temperature and the changesbto the students grade VIIJ SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah uneven Semester Academic Year 2016/2017? (3) How is the learning outcome of students in learning by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of temperature and changes to the students VIIJ SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah Semester Academic Year 2016/2017? (4) How is the response of students towards learning activity by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the students of grade VIIJ at SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah Academic Year 2016/2017? The purpose of this study were: (1) To describe the teacher to manage learning by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the students of grade VIIJ uneven semester at SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah academic years 2016/2017. (2) To describe the completeness of the indicator of outcome of students in learning by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the students of grade VIIJ uneven semester at SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah academic years 2016/2017. (3) To describe the learning outcome of students in learning by apply guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the studentsof grade VIIJ uneven semester at SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah academic year 2016/2017. (4) To describe the response of students towards learning acktivity by apply guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of temperature and the changes to the students of grade VIIJ at SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah academic years 2016/2017. The type of research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were the teacher and grade students VIIJ SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah that total 27. The instrument used in this study is the Observation Sheet learning Management that apply guided inquiry approach , Learning Results Test (cognitive, affective, psychomotor, self- assessment and the assessment inter-students) and the response sheet of students to learning activities. The technique used to collect data in this study is the obsevasion, tests and Questionnaires. While the data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis techniques. Based on the data analysis results showed: (1) the ability of teachers to manage learning with guided inquiry approach is good for the subject matter of temperature and the changes to students grade VIIJ at SMPN 1V Kupang Tengah that total 27. (2) four indicators of cognitive achievement are prepared, all said to be complete. (3) learning result of students as a whole are said to be complete in cognitive, affective, psychomotor, self-assessment and the assessment inter-students. (4) the students give good response to learning activities that apply guided inquiry approach on the subject matter of temperature and the changes
