Abstract

Activities in the field of fisheries such as fishing using explosives, poisons and tools - gear that endanger the sustainability of fishery resources is one of the factors that damage the aquatic environment. Therefore, it needs to be managed in a responsible and sustainable so that its contribution to the availability of nutrients, increase social and economic welfare of society can be improved even more. Currently common fishing by fishermen using fishing gear (trawl, anesthesia with chemicals, explosives) that damage the coral reefs as well as most of the living creatures in the sea ecosystem into step. Therefore, to prevent the use of destructive fishing the marine ecosystem, then made an application of multimedia-based learning about fishing right solution for the fishermen. The method which is used is a multimedia development stages consisting of: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. Of the research conducted, it produced an application which can help increase the awareness of the public, especially the fishermen in order to protect and preserve the marine ecosystems existing well.
