Abstract

This thesis is entitled: "Efforts of the Village Government as a Provider or Provision of Clean Water for the Translok Community in Oni Village, Kualin District, South Central Timor Regency". The main problem studied is what are the efforts of the Village Government as a provider of clean water use for translok people in Oni Village, Kualin District, South Central Timor Regency?. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the efforts of the Village Government as a provider/provider of clean water in improving the maintenance of the quality of the clean water network program for the translok community in Oni Village, Kualin District, South Central Timor Regency. The theory used is the Government's Duty as a Provider. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the analysis of the research results, the Oni Village Government has not been effective enough in the program to provide clean water for the transslok community. So it can be concluded that the need for clean water for the people of the Translok Housing Unit (UPT) of Oni Village has not been sufficient, in improving the health quality and standard of living of the community, the Oni Village Government should continue to manage, repair and work on the drinking water pipe network, because drinking water is the most important basic need for people's lives. In order to improve the management of the clean water network development, the Oni Village Government should build a relationship with the private sector (PAMSIMAS) to run and maintain the clean water program that already exists in the translok community, and channel funds from the Village Fund to finance the clean water pipe network facilities that have been installed. damaged, so that the problem of clean water experienced by the translok settlement community can be resolved.
