Abstract

This research is motivated by empirical factors in the teaching and learning process as well as the results of interviews conducted by researchers at SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. The guided inquiry-based approach is an approach whose series of learning activities emphasize critical and analytical thinking processes to seek and find answers to a problem in question. The problems studied in this study are (1) how is the effectiveness of learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan: a. How is the implementation of learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan? b. How is the teacher's ability to manage learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan? (2) how are students' activities in learning that apply a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan? (3) how is the completeness of student learning outcomes in learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan? (4) how is the response of class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan in learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials?. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the effectiveness of learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan: a. knowing the implementation of learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. b. knowing the teacher's ability to manage learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. (3) knowing the completeness of student learning outcomes in learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. (4) knowing the response of class X MIA 1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan in learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials. Data collection techniques used are through observation, tests and questionnaires. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) The application of an effective guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan: a. the implementation of learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan is in the good category with an average percentage of 85%. b. the ability of teachers in managing learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan is in the good category with an average value of 3.76. (2) the activities of class X MIA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan in learning that apply a guided inquiry approach to electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials are in the good category with an average percentage of 80%. (3) student learning outcomes on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions in learning that apply a guided inquiry approach for class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan completed with an average score of 86. (4) student responses in class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semau Selatan in learning that applies a guided inquiry approach to the electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution material is in the good category with an average percentage of 80%.
