Abstract

Contextual approach is an approach in learning process which is stess an students participations process to find or the material, to find at the relationship between materials which is studied with the real life and it‟s application to reach the meaningful af learning. The main issue in this study is how the results of the application of a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? Specifically, the problems in this study were: (1) How does the teacher's ability to manage the learning process by adopting a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (2) How completeness learning outcome indicators in learning by applying a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (3) How can learning out comes learners in the learning of the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by applying a contextual approach? (4) What is the respons of students to the learning process of the subject matter of density by applying a contextual approach? The main objective of this research is to describe the results of a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016. Specifically, the purpose of this studyis: (1) Describe the teacher's ability to manage the learning process by adopting a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016. (2) Describe completeness learning outcome indicators in learning by applying a contextual approach about the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (3) Describe learning out comes learners in the learning of the subject matter of density for VIIF grade students in odd semester of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by applying a contextual approach? (4) Describe the respons of students to the learning process of the subject matter of density by applying a contextual approach? This studi is conduct describe study and the subject of this study are the teacher (research) and VIIF grade student of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016, which is twenty nine (29) students. Teaching methodology used which is are students learning material (BAPD), Sylabus, Lessen Plan (RPP), Students Worksheet (LKPD) and Test of Learning Result (THB) of product, afektive and pshycomotoric. The technique used in this study are Observation, Tes and Questionnaire. The instrument used in this study are observation list of learning process, Test of Student Result (THB) and Quistionaries of students response. The tehnique of data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis and count the mean, percentace and proporsi. Based on the result of descriptive analysis of the data shows that the implementation of Contextual Approach is optimal for subject matter of density for VIIF grade students of SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016 wich is twenty nine (29) students.
