Abstract

The Computer Laboratory is a part of the organizational structure of the Widya Mandira Catholic University Computer Science Study Program which has many things to manage, such as recording inventory data, making practicum schedules, requesting modifications to practicum schedules, practicum modules and recording data on borrowing goods and rooms. At this time, data management in the Computer Laboratory at the Widya Mandira Catholic University Computer Science Study Program is done manually, including writing in ledgers and storing documents still in hardcopy. As a result, there is a buildup and damage to documents in the computer laboratory as well as difficulties in finding old documents. To deal with this problem, a web-based computer laboratory management application is needed that can help laboratory assistants and the Head of the Computer Laboratory of the Widya Mandira Catholic University Computer Science Study Program in managing the data in the Computer Laboratory. This application will be built using the Sequential Linear method (Waterfall Development Model) as an application development model and using PHP and MySQL tools. The result of this research is the construction of a Web-Based Application for Computer Laboratory Management at Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang.
