Abstract

Discovery learning is a model for developing student is active (CBSA) to find themselves, to investigate it self, the results obtainedwill be loyal and long-lasting in the memory, will not be easily forgotten by learners. With discovery learning, learners can also learn to think and try to solve their own analysis of the problem facing. The main problem in this research is how the result of the application of learning trough discovery learning model of scientific approach to the subject matter of the law or Gravity Newton to the students in class XI MIAA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang semester academic year 2015/2016. Specifically the problem in this research are: 1) How the ability of the teacher to manage the learning activities of the subject matter by applying Newton of law gravitation discovery learning model learning through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016? 2). How completeness indicators of students learning outcomes subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016? 3) How the thoroughness of the study of students the subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton trough a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016? 4). How the response of students to the learning activities of the subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016? The main goal of this research is to describe the result of the application of learning trough discovery learning model of scientific approach to the subject matter of the law of gravity newton in class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang semester academic year 2015/2016. The specific objectives of this study can be described as follows: 1) describe the ability of the teacher to manage the learning activities of the subject matter by applying Newton of law gravitation discovery learning model learning through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016. 2). Describe the completeness indicators of students learning outcomes subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016. 3) Describe the thoroughness of the study of students the subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton trough a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016. 4). Discribe the response of students to the learning activities of the subject matter by applying the laws gravity newton through a scientific approach to the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016. This type of research is descriptive and subject of this research is the students of class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang academic year 2015/2016 which amounted to 40 people and teachers researchers. Learning device used is the syllabus, Lesson Plan (RPP), students teaching materials (BAPD), worksheets learners (LKPD), Sheets Discussions Learners (LDPD), Grilles and achievement test (THB). Techniques used to collect data in this research is observation, test and questionnaires. Instrument used in this study was Observation Sheet Learning Management, Test Results Spreadsheet Response Learning and Students. This research data analysis technique is descriptive analysis by calculating the average value, percentage and proportion. Based on the result of the descriptive analysis of research data to say that the application of learning trough discovery learning model of scientific approach is optimal to the subject matter of the law or gravity Newton in class XI MIAA 3 SMAN 4 Kupang totaling 40 people. Detailed as follows: the ability of teacher to manage the learning activities by applying the model or scientific discovery learning approach that includes: instructional planning, implementation and evaluation of learning is both categories. Indicators of learning outcomes prepared everrthing thoroughly. Physics learning outcomes of students in general completed. The response of students to the implementation of learning by applying guided inquiry approach was in the excellent category.
