Abstract

Guided inquiry approach is learning approach to prepare the situation for learners to conduct their own experiments under the guidance of teachers, ask questions and seek answers to their questions. The main problem in this research is how the results of the application of guided inquiry approach the subject matter of Newton's law students class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/201. Specifically, the problem in this research are: 1) How is the teacher's ability to manage the Newton's law subject matter learning by applying guided inquiry approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 2) How completeness indicators of learning outcomes in learning the subject matter of Newton's law by applying Guided Inquiry Approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 3) How mastery learning outcomes of students in learning subject matter of Newton's law by applying guided inquiry approach to Students of to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 4) How is the response of students to the learning implementation of subject matter of Newton's law learning by applying Guided inquiry Approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. Based on the above problem formulation, the goals to be achieved in this research is to describe the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of Newton's Laws in class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. Specifically the aims of this research are: 1) Describes the teacher's ability in managing learning the subject matter of Newton's law by applying of guided inquiry approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 2) Describes the completeness indicators of learning outcomes in learning the subject matter of Newton's law by applying Guided Inquiry Approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 3) Describes the 3) Describes the completeness studying of students in learning subject matter of Newton's law by applying guided inquiry approach to Students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. 4) Describes students' response of the learning activities subject matter of Newton's law by applying guided inquiry Approach to students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang, academic year 2015/2016. This research is a descriptive study with research subjects were teachers (researchers) and students of class VIII B Recognized Private SMP Adhyaksa 2 Kupang totaling 17 people. The instrument used in this study is the implementation of learning management observation sheet which implements of guided inquiry approach, Test Results Learning (cognitive, affective, psychomotor and processes) and learners' questioner response. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique to calculate the average value, percentage and proportion. While learning device used is Students' teaching Materials, syllabus, lesson plans, Students worksheet, latticework and Results of learning test. Based on the results of the analysis showed the ability of teachers in managing learning by applying guided inquiry approach is good for subject matter of Newton's law to students of class VIII B Recognized Private Adhyaksa 2 Kupang totaling 19 people. Six indicators of cognitive learning outcomes prepared is declared completed. The study of students as a whole is said to be completed in cognitive, affective, psychomotor and processes. The response of students to the learning activities with guided inquiry approach is very good.
