Abstract

Direct instructional model is a learning model that is specifically designed to support the learning process of students with regard to knowledge of declarative and procedural knowledge are structured that can be taught with the activity pattern of gradual, step by step. The main problem in this research is the result of applying the learning model How directly the subject matter of Newton's law on the learner class XA SMAN 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? and in detail the problem in this study were (1) How is the teacher's ability to manage the learning activities by applying direct learning model of Newton's Laws on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (2) How completeness Learning Outcome Indicators (IHB) learners by applying direct instructional model Newton's law on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (3) How mastery learning outcomes of students with learning model directly applying Newton's law on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? (4) How is the response of students to the learning activities by applying direct learning model of Newton's Laws on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016? The general objective of this study was describe the results of the application of direct instructional model Newton's law on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016 and in detail the objectives of this study were (1) to describe the ability of the teacher to manage the learning activities by applying direct instructional model Newton's law on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016 (2) Describe Mastery Learning Outcome Indicators (IHB) learners by applying direct instructional model Newton's law on the subject matter of the class XA learners SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016 (3) Describe the mastery learning outcomes of students with learning model directly applying Newton's law on the subject matter of learners class XA SMAN 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/ 2016 (4) Describe the response of learners to learning activities applying the model of direct learning Newton's laws on the subject matter of learners class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a descriptive study. Subjects in the study is a learner class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang numbering 35 people and teachers (researcher). Data collection techniques used were observation, test and questionnaire, while the instrument used in this study is the management of pieces of direct learning, achievement test and the response of the sheet learners. Engineering analysis of the results of research is quantitative descriptive analysis includes the calculation of the average score, proportions and percentages. Based on the results kantitatif descriptive analysis, research data generally indicates that the immediate application of learning models subject matter of the law of Newton on the learner class XA SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in the academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 35 people is good. In detail the results of the data analysis are as follows: (1) the ability of teachers to manage learning by applying direct instructional model is good, (2) Indicator results learning products learners consisting of 11 indicators as a whole is thorough, the outcomes indicators affective learning learners which consists of 20 indicators was thorough, and indicators of learning outcomes psychomotor learners consists of 8 indicators is thorough, (3) Results of learning products obtained learners as a whole is thorough, results affective learning obtained learners as a whole is thorough and psychomotor learning outcomes obtained learners as a whole is thorough and (4) The response of students to the learning activities by applying direct instructional model that consists of five aspects are in very good category.
