Abstract

Contextual Learning Model is a learning that is involved in the process of full involvement of students to find the material being studied and connected to life situations so as to encourage students to be able to apply it in their lives (Johnson, 2009:65). There are three things that we must understand (Johnson, 2009:67). The objectives of this research are (1) to know the learning outcomes of students on colloidal system material by applying the contextual learning model of science students 1 SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, (2) to know the learning outcomes of students on colloidal system material by applying a student problembased learning model. students of class XI IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Kupang, (3) Knowing whether there are differences in student learning outcomes on colloid system material by applying contextual learning models and problem-based learning models for students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kupang. From the results of data analysis obtained (1) learning outcomes of students on the colloid system material by applying the contextual learning model for class XI IPA 1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang completed with the final score obtained
