Abstract
Skill process is a kind of learning approach that emphasize students to be creative and active in their physical and mental capability development (basic capabilities) to the higher level to process their learning achievements. The main problem in this research is the goal of the application of the Newton’s laws main topic’s skill process approach to the tenth grade MIA odd semesters’ students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior high school Kupang in the academic year 2014/2015. The detailed of this main problem are as follows: 1) How is teacher ability in manage the learning activity by applicating the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015? 2) How is the indicator of learning outcomes completeness through The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015? 3) How is the completeness of students learning achievements through The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015? 4) How is students’ response to the learning activity with The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015?. The objective of this study is to describe the result of The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tent Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015. The detailed of the objective itself would be as follows: 1) To describe teacher ability in manage the learning activity by applicating the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015. 2) To describe the indicator of learning outcomes completeness through The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015. 3) To describe the completeness of students learning achievements through The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015. 4) To describe students’ response to the learning activity with The Application of the Newton’s Laws Main Topic’s Skill Process Approach to The Tenth Grade MIA Odd Semesters’ Students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the Academic Year 2014/2015. This study belongs to descriptive study and the subject is the teacher and twenty six of the tenth grade MIA odd semesters’ students of Sint Carolus catholic senior high school Kupang in the academic year 2014/2015. Teaching equipment which used in this research are silabus, the material (BAPD), lesson plan (RPP), and students’ worksheet (LKPD). The instrument that applied to support this research is observation sheet with the application of the process skill approach, evaluation (product, process, affective and psychomotor). The compilation techniques in this research are: observational, test, and questionnaire. The data analysis that applied is descriptive quantitative covered counting of average score, presentation, and proportion. Based on the result of descriptive quantitative analysis, the teacher ability in manage the learning activity by applicating process skill approach is good, the indicator of learning outcomes completeness is great, the students’ achievements is also good, and students’ response through learning process is very good. Thus, the application of the Newton’s Laws main topic’s skill process approach to the tenth grade MIA odd semesters’ students of Sint Carolus Catholic Senior High School Kupang in the academic year 2014/2015 is optimal.
