Abstract

Cooperative Teaching and Learning Model Group Investigation Type is a teaching and learning model that involves the students from choosing the sub topic, planning for investigation up to presenting the result in the class. Aside from that, this teaching and learning model requires the students to cooperate in the group. The main problem of this research is the result of the applied cooperative teaching model group investigation type of the measuring main subject on the tenth MIA students of SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang senior high scool in the year 2014/2015 is specifically, the problems of this research are: (1) How is the teacher’s competency in managing his/her teaching and learning activities in the implentation of the Cooperative Teaching Model Group Investigation Type? (2) How is the cooperative skill of the students in the implementation of the cooperative teaching model group investigation type in the teaching and learning activities? (3) How in the completeness of the students’ learning result indicators in the implementation of the cooperative teaching model group investigation type in the teaching and learning process? (4) How is the physics learning result in the implementation of the cooperative teaching model group investigation type in the teaching and the learning process? (5) How do the students respond to the implementation of the cooperative teaching model group investigation type in the teaching and learning activities? The objective of the study is to the describe the result of the implementation of the Teaching Model Group Investigation Type of the Measuring Main Subject On the Tenth Student Of SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang Senior High School in the year 2014/2015. The spesific objectives of the study are: (1) to the describe the teachers competency in managing the teaching and learning process in the implementation of cooperative teaching model group investigation type. (2) To descibe the students cooperative skill in the teaching and learning activities in the implementation of the cooperative teaching model group investigation type, (3) To describe the completeness of the students’ learning result indicators (IHB) in applying cooperative teaching model group investigation type in the teaching and learning process. (4) To the describe the learning result completeness of the student as a result of applying the cooperative teaching model group investigatio type. (5) To describe the students’ respond to the teaching and learning activities where the cooperative teaching model group investigation type was applied. This is descriptive research. The subject of the research is the tenth MIA student of the SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang senior high school in the year 2014/2015. The number of the tenth MIA students is 30. To collect the data, the researcher used these techniques: observation, test, and questionaire, for the instruments, the researcher used the teaching and learning management observation sheet, and student’s respond from. The researcher then made a descriptive analyzes which included computation of average score, proportion, and percentage. Based on the descriptive analyzes, the result data showed that in general the implementation of cooperative teaching model group investigation type is optimal for the measuring main subject on the 30 students in class tenth student of SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang senior high school. For the details, it can be stated as follows. (1) Teacher’s competency in managing physics teaching on the main subject of the measuring for SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang senior high school student class MIA X through implementation of cooperative teaching plainning, implementation of teaching, teaching evaluation the are categorized good. (2) Students’ cooperation skill whitc include: being on his/her task, initiate to take turn and share the task, intiate to participant, active learning, ask or answer question, in general and average being on the determined efective range. (3) Learned yielding indicator (product, afektif and psikomotor) every thing complete. (4) Participants learned result teach to braze x MIA SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang on Measurements subject material as a whole complete. (5) Participant response taught by teradap kooperatif's learning type investigates group for to five aspect that cover foreword activity, activity fundamental, closing activity, time management and class atmosphere is pretty good.
