Abstract
The objective of this study is to determine whether there is influence of the Discovery Learning Model to the learning achievement in Mathematics of tenth grade science students of SMAN 10 Kupang in the academic year 2016/2017. The subject of the study wastenth grade science students, consisted of 22 students. The data used in this study aretaken from the result of pretest and posttest of the class experiential with Discovery Learning. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 and manual analysis. Prior to testing hypotheses, a prerequisite test was conducted, which is a normality check for pretest and posttest data. The data obtained from the pretest analysis result was sig. (2-tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and . Thus H0 is accepted and the data were normally distributed. While the data obtained from the posttest was sig. (2-tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and. Thus H0 is accepted and the data were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using a paired sample test, after the data were analyzed the result was sig. (2-tailed = 0.00
