Abstract
The significance of this study is to know the correlation of student perception about mathematics teacher and learning interest with mathematics learning achievement in integer subject. The hypothesis on this study are: (1) there is the significant correlation of student perception about mathematics teacher with mathematics learning achievement, (2) there is the significant correlation of learning interest with mathematics learning achievement, (3) there are significant correlation of student perception about mathematics teacher and learning interest with mathematics learning achievement. The method in this study is quantitative with correlation is the kind of this study is to see the correlation in the variables. Statistics analysis in this study is Pearson product moment correlation (r) and double correlations. Before the statistics analysis has done, normality as a condition must be done. This study is done in seventh grade students of SMPK St. Isidorus Besikama semester I in the school years 2014/2015. The population in this study is all of seventh grade students of SMPK St. Isidorus Besikama with one class of 25 students as a sample which had taken randomly. The result of analysis statistics in the first hypothesis showed that the correlation coefficient rX1Y = 0,745 and determination correlation is 100% 2 r = 0,7452 × 100% = 55,50%. Its mean that the contribution of student perception about mathematics teacher to mathematics learning achievement is 55,50% and 44,5 % is determined of the another variables. The second hypothesis showed that the correlation coefficient rX2Y = 0,583 and determination correlation is 100% 2 r = 33,99%. Its mean that the contribution of learning interest to mathematics learning achievement is 33,99% and 66,01 % is determined of the another variables. The third hypothesis showed that the correlation coefficient rX1X2Y = 0,745 and determination correlation is 100% 2 r = 0,7452 × 100% = 55,50%. Its mean that the contribution of student perception about mathematics teacher and learning interest to mathematics learning achievement is 55,50% and 44,50% is determined of the another variables. Based on the data above, the writer concluded that there are correlation of student perception about mathematics teacher and learning interest with mathematics learning achievement.
