Abstract
In the learning process of teachers in delivery is not apart from the media, using the learning media can facilitate teachers in the delivery of the material, one of which is using Microsoft Power Point. Selection of media Power Point is felt very precisely because the media is able to display the visual impressions and text so as to reduce verbalistic and can help facilitate students in understanding the material described by teacher. This research focuses on the study of learning mediated the Microsoft Power Point is done through the methods of experimental classes and methods of the control class to the students in class VIII Semester I sub the subject of Pythagorean theorem in SMPN 1 Taebenu Kupang school year 2014/2015. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there are differences in the achievements of students learning math is taught with a learning mediated Microsoft Power Point and conventional learning in students of class VIII semester I sub the subject of Pythagorean theorem in SMPN 1 Taebenu Kupang school year 2014/2015. Based on the results of statistical tests of its homogeneity test obtained post_test in SPSS 16.0. It is known that the value of the output of significance of 0.440, where as manual analysis results showed that Fhitung = 1.300632 < Ftabel 2.04777. It can be inferred that the two samples had a homogeneous variances. From the output test normality on SPSS 16.0 note that for class experiments Asymp. Sig.(2-tailed) of the control class and 0,200 Asymp. Sig.(2-tailed) of 0,147. While the analysis results manual with sample size 23 for class experiments Dhitung = 0.133 < Dtabel = 0.275 and to control class Dhitung = 0,196 < Dtabel = 0.275. It can be inferred that the class experiments and normal Gaussian control class. From the results of the t-test output on SPSS 16.0 note that Sig, (2- tailed) of 0.004. While the manual analysis results showed that the value of Thitung = 3.07517 Ttabel = 2.015368 > with dk = 44. From the calculation of statistical tests, it is known that the difference in learning achievement of students taught by learning mediated Microsoft Power Point. It is increasingly strengthened the research hypothesis that States reject H0 and receive the Ha, so that it can be concluded that there is a difference of achievement learning math using conventional learning mediated Microsoft Power Point and conventional learning at class VIII sub subject of Pythagorean theorem in SMPN 1 Taebenu Kupang school year 2014/2015.
