Abstract

This research was written by Riston Tanggela (31115110) Development Economics Study Program under the guidance of Supervisor I Mr. Daniel Taolin, SE, M.Si and Supervisor II Mrs. Enike Tje Yustin Dima, SE, ME with the research title "Analysis of Factors Affecting Income The owner of the boarding house in Lasiana Village, Kupang City District". The purpose of this study is 1) To find out how the description of the rental price of the boarding house, the number of rooms, and the number of residents on the income of the owner of the boarding house in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City? 2) To find out whether the rental price of the boarding house, the number of rooms and the number of occupants have a partial effect on the income of the owner of the boarding house in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City? 3) To find out whether the rental price of the boarding house, the number of rooms and the number of occupants have a simultaneous effect on the income of the boarding house owner in Lasiana Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City? This study uses quantitative data, the type of data that can be measured or calculated directly, in the form of information or explanation expressed in numbers or in the form of numbers. Sources of data used in this study is primary data is a source of research data obtained directly from the original source (not through intermediaries). There were 40 samples in this study which were then processed using 10 eviews and analyzed using regression models and imferential statistics with four tests, namely 1) Classical Assumption Test, 2) Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, 3) Hypothesis Testing, 4) Coefficient of Determination Analysis (R²). The boarding houses in Lasiana Sub-district are really very influential for immigrants, especially for students because they don't stay at people's homes with a lot of pressure, so they focus more on studying. With the results of the Determination Coefficient of Goodness of fit test (R²) of 0.979872 or 97.98% Dependent Variable (Income of Boarding Owners) can be explained by the independent variables of Boarding Rental Price (X1), Number of Rooms (X2), and Number of Occupants (X3). While the other 2.02% is explained by other variables that are not included in this study.
