Abstract
In this research there are three main problems, they are; is is there influence of learning interest to students’ achievement of mathematics of VII grade in SMP negeri 12 Kupang? Is there any influence of confident on the achievement of learning mathematics of VII grade in SMP Negeri 12 Kupang? And is there any influence between learning interest and selfconfidence to students’ achievement in mathematics class of VII grade in SMP Negeri 12 Kupang? The purpuse of this study is to determine the influence of learning interest on the students’ achievement of learning mathematics in VII grade in SMP Negeri 12 Kupang, to determine the influence of selfconfidence in the achievement of larning mathematics in VII grade of SMP Negeri 12 Kupang, and to determine the influence of learning interest and selfconfidence to the students’ mathematics achievment of VII grade in SMP Negeri 12 Kupang. The type of research used s quantitative research and statistical analysis used is multiple regression analysis. Data analysis performed using SPSS 22.00 for windows program. From the output of spss 22.00 for windows, based on the test of normality ,linearity, and multicolinearity, learning interest and selfconfidence have in influence on the achievement of learning mathematics. On multiple regression analysis interest in learning and confidence have influence on mathematics achievement, and obtained regression equation Y = 21,183 + 0,396X1 + 0,349X2 and value of Fcount = 15,830 > Ftable = 3,40 then reject H0, means that there is influence between learning interest and selfconfidence on the students’ achievement of learning mathematics of VII grade in SMP Negeri 12 Kupang. Based on the output of SPSS 22 for windows, the f test of interest in learning and selfconfidence shows the influence of the students’ mathematics learning achievement and t test, learning interest and selfconfidence also have an influence on the achievement of learning mathematics.
