Abstract

This objective is to describe the critical process of thinking student in solving nathematics problems is reviwed from the cognitive style of two class VII SMPK St. Yoseph Kupang the two students were chosen based on the gift of the embedded group test (GEFT), then the researchers gave a task-solving interview to each subject of the critical assesment of the students in the mathematics of mathematical problems at base-solving resolution of the subject. With a review of 3 indicators to formulate questions to identify or formulate problems to performobsevasi and asses reports of= observations using the correct evidence of making an induction and judging induktion= is able to draw conclusions in fact. Analyzing data in this study is reducing its data, presenting data, and making conclusions. These research shows that the subject of FI and the subject FD has a critical process of critical thinking. Fi is able to meet all indicators and subject FD doesn’t meet all indicators. Based on these research result in hoping that teachers can design a mathematical study that is pursued in the process of thinking the student in his ability to think is critical by giving the. In the process, let the teacher guide the critical mind of the students in accordance with the diffeerence of cognitive style that is owned by each student so the abilyti to think of the most.
